"Magic" Vintage Upright Bass Guitar from Justin Johnson's personal collection.  This vintage upright bass is FILLED with Mojo.. It has been used by Justin on tour and in numerous recordings.
Justin picked up this bass around 2015, and it's been the only upright bass that he's used since.  Any time you've seen Justin in concert or in a video plating an upright bass, it's been this one.  This bass has no identifying marks to indicate the maker, or the year of manufacture, but it is most likely from the mid-1900's. 
The body woods are laminate, but the age and use of the instrument over the years has really opened up the tone, and it has a nice balance & projection, and a great "woody" tone.   This baby definitely has picked up some character over the years, but she sounds great acoustically or plugged in.
